The Cornish Live Electronics Ensemble (CLEE) is a new performing ensemble that has grown out of a Live-Electronics class at Cornish College of the Arts. Directed by Tom Baker, the ensemble features ten Cornish student-composers who have been building electronic instruments on which to improvise and create unique and experimental works. Student composers are Cameron Armstrong, Griffing Boyd, Cole Bratcher, Anthony Cammarota, David Dossett, Mithcell Gustin, Sierra Klingele, Julio Lopez, Shohei Ogami and Lucas Werdal.
About
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center (which sits on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish people): contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics. Watch a video clip about us on the Seattle Channel.
